Being Black whilst in Higher Education - what’s it really like?

After the controversy over safe spaces, the emergence of movements like ‘Why is My Curriculum White?’ and UCL’s scrapping of their planned MA on The Philosophy of Race, we decided to see where things really stand for black people in Britain’s higher education system today.

It’s worth us starting with a big, fat spoiler here. Reading this may make you a little depressed (or extremely depressed, depending on your emotional temperament).
